240SX 2:
With this one I have a different idea in mind totally. With my first one, which I miss every day, I wanted to build a drift car so I could have as much fun as it looked like drifting was. Then came the realization that I had built more than I could afford to break, and then soon after I started becoming soft.
The 240SX, though minimal in modification, had become too "hardcore" and "immature" for my planned immediate future. Figure that one out...
I traded it for an Acura RSX and felt good about my decision for a little while. Then the Acura just became... insufficient. It got great MPG, could run 87, it was an automatic so I didn't have to worry about shifting, it was comfortable, high enough off the ground so I didn't have to calculate a way to make it over a 4" speed bump...
It was everything I wanted, ...wanted.
After I few months I could give a shi* less about all the creature comforts and easiness. Where was the raw thrills? Where was the passion? Where was the emotion? The fun?
It didn't deliver on any of those fronts and when I realized that passion was more important than comfort I decided I'd had enough.
So I traded it for this, and now I'm back at square one.
